Computer-to-Plate (CTP)
The
Dimension™ Series of CTP systems is based on Presstek’s ProFire™
integrated thermal imaging technology. The Dimension Series brings to
the marketplace the precision, reliability, versatility, productivity
and quality that printers require in their CTP investment. The fast
imaging speeds and high-resolution output improve pressroom productivity
by automating key steps and eliminating many time-consuming prepress
procedures. The overall process is far more productive, with more jobs
completed in the same amount of time.
The
Dimension Series provides low operating costs and low costs of ownership
because of the reliability of Presstek DI® thermal imaging, which is
proven in thousands of installations worldwide. Dimension platesetters
also have a small footprint to make a better fit in tight quarters. The
Dimension Series supports all popular RIPs and prepress workflows with
automated conversion of 1-bit TIFF bit map files for output, standard
interface hardware and protocols, and CIP3 compatibility. Dimension CTP
enables end-users to enjoy the superior quality, reliability and
affordability inherent in Presstek's proven DI technology.
Presstek
Dimension400™
For
computer-to-plate imaging, the Dimension400, is the price/performance
leader in its class. The Dimension400 supports all popular RIPs and
prepress workflows with automated conversion of 1-bit TIFF bitmap files
for output and standard interface hardware and protocols. Based on
ProFire™ thermal laser imaging, it brings a whole new dimension to
proven Presstek technology.
Compact
size, versatility, speed, reliability and high performance are just the
beginning. End-users realize superior imaging quality through the
repeatability and precision inherent in proven Presstek DI® technology.
It will image a 10" x 10" to 27" x 31" (240mm x 240mm to 680mm x 787mm)
plate, in less than 3.5 minutes. Overall, conventional press operations
are far more economical and productive when using a Dimension400 CTP
system. The system images most thermal plates including Presstek’s
Anthem™ and PEARLdry™.
